We offer a quiet, healing environment for people in spiritual need. We have a residential library specializing in Christian spirituality and healing. We welcome those who are seeking and searching through reading and study. We also have two guest rooms and a chapel. Individuals are welcome to come for the day and groups of up to fourteen can be accommodated for quiet days and courses. Retreats, spiritual direction, counsel, confession, teaching on and prayer for healing are available. Every effort is made to hold the house in an atmosphere of peace and healing. Come and relax in our various gardens.

The Peak Centre

Retreat, Conference and Residential Youth Centres

The Peak Centre at Champion House has been the Derby Diocesan Residential Youth Centre since 1969. It has two separate living spaces for groups of 20, 26 or, both together, 46. You can choose self catering or catered. It has a sports hall with indoor climbing wall, stage lights, sports and music resources. The Craft Room is generously stocked with craft materials, the Resources Store has a wide range of educational and recreational resources.
Outside there is a playing field, woodland and a camp fire area and pond.

The Centre has an AALS Activity Licence and we provide instructors and equipment for climbing, abseiling, archery, hill walking, orienteering, fencing, circus skills and wool spinning. For lots more including prices, vacancies, photos and downloads, see www.peakcentre.org.uk

Dovedale House in Ilam, near Ashbourne, is owned by the Church of England and is part of the family of organisations linked to the Diocese of Lichfield.

This former Victorian vicarage opened as a residential centre in 1967 and has since been host to thousands of groups

Willersley Castle's amenities and its central location within a few miles of the M1 make it a popular venue for both residential and day conferences.

Accommodation is available for 86 guests in the main building and in The Mews. There are meetings rooms for up to 100 delegates, including a separate conference room in The Mews. Some bedrooms in The Mews are on the ground floor, and the first and second floors of the main building are served by a lift.

The ground floor of the hotel is on one level and there is ramped access into the building. There is also a disabled toilet situated on the ground floor.

Cliff Conferences is situated in the grounds of Cliff College on the outskirts of the village of Calver in the Peak District National Park.

Cliff College, founded in 1804, is a Christian Bible College owned by the Methodist Church, which welcomes students from all Christian denominations.  Here at Cliff Conferences we are experienced in accommodating groups of varying sizes and with differing needs and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you all that we can offer in order to make your conference a success.

The Conference Centre is made up of five buildings with various types of accommodation, conference rooms and other facilities that can be hired singularly, as a whole, or in any combination to suit your needs.

Our friendly and professional staff are ready to help you from your initial enquiry right through to the end of your conference and we very much look forward to welcoming you to our facilities.

 

Convent of the Holy Name, Oakwood, Derby

Day Visitors.

There are rooms set aside at the Convent which can be booked for a day or part of a day by individuals or groups who would like to come for a time of quiet, reading, study or prayer.  Tea and coffee are provided.

 

Hospitality at the Guest Cottage

The Convent guest cottage offers an opportunity to any who wish to share our life and worship.

A place for hospitality, retreat and rest for individuals, or a meeting place for small groups (maximum 7).

The Cottage is in the convent grounds and guests are very welcome to join the community for daily Eucharist and any of the Offices said throughout each day.  The Chapel is usually available for prayer and reflection.

The two main meals are taken in the Convent refectory, in silence except for Sundays and feast days.

The grounds are quiet and peaceful and country walks are within easy reach of the cottage.

King’s Park is a Christian Conference & Sports Centre, in Northampton, catering for groups of up to 150 for residential and day conferences.
